RIP the dead. RISE, those alive!

Think please ….!

Over 100 school kids were killed in Peshawar in Dec' 2014 and in less than a month 10 Journalists along with 2 cops were shot in Paris. Both these attacks were claimed to be demonstrations of withholding faith in a particular religion by two different groups. These tragic incidences have triggered the following article ....

Apart from these killings, innumerable people are being killed in various attacks all over the world. Since the Twin Tower collapse, terrorist attacks, sadly, have also become a topic of discussion even at parties and get-togethers. It feels strange sometimes to see the human mind adapting to insensitivity so easily than to sensitivity. May be because sensitivity would demand an action and leave us restless, if it is not pursued.

Well, lately I have been reading a book on religions across the globe. My thoughts wandered to the people ...the common people who dominate the human population on this earth. This is what I thought. ...........If I am born in a particular religion and am seeing everything good around me ....my parents quiet good, working sincerely, praying daily, living reasonably and giving their families a good living too. Also I am being assuming the same about my ancestors and theirs as well  ….. in fact this has been the way of life all throughout for my generations.....being in the same religion ....THEN ...why would I even think about any other religion ...forget about adopting it  ....why would I even study it ? There is absolutely no reason to alter. Well the point that I am trying to make is that any person born in a particular religion more or less undergoes the same experience. In addition to this ...consistent, direct or indirect, exposure to religious rituals reinforce my belief in my religion as against zero exposure to any other religion's ritual. Why would I even think something wrong about my religion, IF, mind you IF, everything is going well? And then why wouldn't somebody else of another religion at some other place think similar about his own religion. So in short all the religions become good to their respective followers by default .......until of course ........ ... !!

Until of course.... there is something in the religion that is posing as a challenge to the way one should think and act. ......Now this is where the individual and his nurturing comes into the picture. Who is supposed to validate the challenge that a religion might pose? Well I think it has to be subjected to nature's law of selection.

Amidst the variety in nature only human (man and woman) is bestowed by intelligence as his weapon for survival. Based on his/her thinking human can counteract and has counteracted innumerable super challenges in the past. How can any religion be against the freedom of expression? Hello! Isn’t it the prerequisite for the human evolution.  Had it not been for the human mind’s progress how would the world reach where it has today? Without challenges and debates we would never have known that the earth is a sphere. For that matter would the killers of Hebdo even have those sophisticated guns, if they were never made? And the car in which they flew cowardly? THINK! …that’s how we differ from animals. Let the mind evolve!!

So if in a religion suppose women seeking education is perceived as a challenge then  ...(subjecting this challenge to nature) nature shouldn't have made baby girls as curious as baby boys. ... what I mean is, see as babies we are forced to sleep, we always want to stay awake, you know why?...Because babies are curious and want to witness every moment, grasp more and more. Similarly as adults we want to know a lot of things out of simple natural curiosity...that’s education man! It’s a natural tendency. Whether one goes to a school or not doesn't really matter..... now how are they going to curb the natural curiosity of learning in women? Are they going to kill all women if they are convinced with what I say? THINK!

RIP those all dead and RISE all those still alive!
